This is a move that should benefit everyone and hurt nobody as none of us that have purchased all the dlc will be affected by it. ago I don't know that they would need to start over to cut stuff. It might not be final, but I'd expect the final version to look fairly similar. This would be a lot of work to just start over though. If people play the Immortal Empires experience with the game 3 characters they will be far more likely to purchase game 1 and 2 and the associated dlc than what is currently on offer. I would assume the map is pretty set, the province borders and what not are the things getting changed. Immortal Empires features the largest map that Creative Assembly has ever built. Doing this should also benefit Creative Assembly. Even with only the game 3 lords available the Immortal Empires experience is vastly better than what is currently on offer with the Realm of Chaos. What is proposed here is that Creative Assembly make Immortal Empires more accessible and allow players that only purchase Warhammer 3 to have access to it but lock out the lords from game 1 and 2 until purchased. This campaign leaves a sour taste in the mouth of new players to the extent that they do not seek out the far superior experience of Immortal Empires even if they may have actually loved it. Since Warhammer 3 is the newest Total War game the likely experience that a new player will receive is the Realms of Chaos campaign, which is almost universally despised. Within the cruel hierarchy of the Under-Empire, the wishes and demands of the Horned. This is not a problem for those of us that have been with the trilogy since the start but to people looking to get into this game a very hefty pay wall is created and to some the barrier to entry is far too high. This status should be changed if collaborative activity resumes. Any dlc for associated lords also has to be purchased. Immortal Empires is the quintessential experience of the trilogy and currently requires the purchase of Warhammer 1, 2 and 3 in order to have access to it.
